Reviews

“Stations of the Soul is well written and kept my interest from start to finish. A thriller with some supernatural mixed in; it makes a great read.”

“Taut, tightly-written thriller! Reviewed in the United States, 2020. Sometimes you stumble upon a new author and just know you’re going to end up liking everything they write. Such is the case with Chris Lewando. In Stations of the Soul, Lewando introduces us to a protagonist who is hard to like and then suddenly, at some point in the book, we find ourselves fervently rooting for them to make it to the end of the story unscathed. “

I thought this book was excellent from the beginning. I had intended to read a few chapters a day, but ended up spending most of Sunday reading it to the end. A great plot with good characters. Shades of Stephen King, which is no bad thing. I think this would make a great film. I will definitely be looking out for other books by this author.

“A solid mystery, thriller, and a bit of the unknown thrown in. Reviewed in the United States, 2020. Stations of the Soul by Chris Lewando is a solid story with a bit of mystery, thriller, and and the unknown thrown into the mix. All the characters are believable and written well. The author kept you interested in the story and his descriptions of the actions and places were good. I would have loved to have investigated Wood Hall, especially after the authors description of it; creepiness and all. The book certainly has you asking yourself questions. I loved the way the author left both doors open in deciding is there or isn’t there…”

“An incredible book. It really gets the imagination working. It has been quite awhile since I read a mystery that I had so much trouble putting down.

“I’m always attracted to a novel that hints of religion. This one not just grabbed me, but also intrigued me.

“A gripping thriller with a unique storyline. I loved this so much that I read it in one sitting. This was well written and had well developed characters.”

“Absorbing well written mystery. The characters are real and natural, even when it turns out they might not be… The early clues to solve the puzzles do not diminish the satisfaction of speculating throughout. The writing, pace and plot are good.
