Reviews

“The Silence of Children” was an amazing book. Difficult subject matter but incredibly thoughtful and precise writing.”

“I enjoyed this book. The story was fast paced. I would have liked to know more about Greg, his story. And closure with Janine and her folk. And who was the Doctor’s rich benefactor? Stop doing emails and write the sequel!!!!! LOL!”

“Just finished The Silence of Children, and I am blown away.  Fantastic book that moved me.”

“I’m on chapter 12 already, and have to stop or I won’t get to work tomorrow. It’s brilliant!”

“Clever ending. I was cursing you for stopping! It feels like a TV Netflix series the whole way through. There MUST be a sequel planned. And who IS Greg?”

“The Silence of Children” is a great read, and once it drew me in, I couldn’t put it down until the end. The story became riveting and I read it almost in one sitting. Like all good books it also left me wanting more, and I hope you will continue the storyline later so we discover what happens to the main characters and the remaining protagonists. Overall a great read that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in a great story that could so easily, though hopefully never, be based on fact.

“The second book in the series starts with a bang. It would help to read the first book, The Silence of Children, since there are quite a few references to it, however that would be a plus as it is an excellent read as well. Chris Lewando is an amazing writer, no matter what genre she chooses. I’ve read quite a few of her books and she is a master at setting the mood. You feel exactly what the main character is experiencing. She also excels at showing you multiple shades of gray in a black and white issue. The plot line is resolved in the end, but as in life, the story continues. Chris always leaves me thinking.”

“While there are some lighter moments with rescue dogs and motorcycle gangs, the underlying story indicts the propagators of crimes against children.”
